OUR OFFERING

We are in a wild romance with cacao, sharing the best handcrafted chocolate, to nourish and delight through the guidance of earth wisdom, for a life of vitality and radiance.

All our bars are an ‘ancient origin' ceremonial grade wild organic heirloom cacao from Ecuador, also known as the rare and esteemed old growth Arriba Nacional genetic. Our chocolate is perfectly fermented and unroasted to keep all bioavailable nutrition intact. We formulate our bars with wild and organic botanicals, adaptogens, medicinal mushrooms, minerals and our signature blend of ORMUS gold and hydrolyzed pearl in unio mystica.

All our formulas have a specific intention to support our natural rhythms and cycles of life, whether that is cultivating vitality and energy, inner beauty and radiance, female hormonal cycle, or relating with one another in heart coherence.

If there was ever a functional chocolate company, this would be it. But we are far too romantic and philosophical to lead with that.

MEET THE CO-FOUNDERS + STEWARDS

MUNI ALCHEMY is the heart offering of Alison and Shen.

After meeting in philosophy class in high school and sharing a brief but profound love at 18 years old, we went our separate ways. 18 years later, the returning of a Tao Te Ching book led to a kismet reuniting, and quickly our lives came together.

We discovered during our time apart, that we had lived many parallels. We were both practicing yogis dedicated to wellness, natural ways of living, reformed vegans, worked with herbs, plants and mushrooms, and both of us had a deep reverence for and worked intimately with cacao. Alison had spent years sharing cacao in ceremony, and incorporated it into daily practice. Shen spent even more years traveling the most cohesive ecosystems in dedication to making the best possible heirloom chocolate bars.

Our knowledge and intention to create truly supreme botanical, mushroom and mineral infused chocolate bars brought us here, to share our creation with you. Each bar has been formulated through the wisdom of highly regarded and well researched botanicals, culinary artistry and nature’s guidance to elevate the chocolate experience to one of absolute delight and wonder.

We share Muni Alchemy from our homestead on a completely off grid island in the Salish Sea, where our melangers and chocolate equipment are powered by solar energy. When not making chocolate, we are tending to our slow and intentional life. Living seasonally in our garden, by our hearth, deep in practices, communing with the land, ocean, community, housing kindred ones, feeding ourselves foraged and slow cultivated foods and taking our cat family on daily explorations.

Over 20 years after our initial coming together, what remains true is that both of us are driven by heart centered living, committed to exploring truth within our inner and outer being, and being present to the ever changing alchemy of it all.
